Project Overview
Our new Hemingway District street banners will bring a fresh look to the neighborhood and remain on display throughout the district for the next three years (2027-2030).
Local businesses and nonprofits can sponsor a banner and have their name featured prominently in the streetscape. We will install six banner designs at assigned locations throughout the district.
Step 1 - Choose Your Style
These custom banner designs are inspired by what makes our district great. There are 6 total styles to choose from. Limited quantities of each will be printed, so reserve yours now to ensure you get your preferred design! Custom illustrations by Sarah Hinman, a local Chicago artist.

Step 2 - Choose Your Location
Use the map below to find your preferred location on the banner map. The visual key indicates which designs will be placed at each location. There are limited options; reserve today to get your top pick!
Step 3 - Reserve Your Banner Today!
Choose from the products below to pay for and reserve your banner. Banners are $175 each and will be up for the next 3 years (2027-2030). Once a location has been purchased, it will be displayed as sold out. Banners will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Banner sponsorships are $175 each. NOTE: Hemingway District Business Alliance members will receive a credit on their annual dues.

The new banners are designed to remain throughout the Hemingway District for approximately three years.

Each banner has an assigned numbered location. Review the banner location map to see available placements, then select your preferred location number from the dropdown.

Yes. There are six banner designs, each assigned to specific locations throughout the district. Your location selection will determine the banner design.

Your business name will be incorporated into the banner design using typography similar to the sample renders shown on this page. Please ensure that your form submission includes how you would like it to be spelled.

No. To keep the banners consistent and cohesive throughout the district, logos and custom color substitutions cannot be accommodated.

No. Each numbered banner location is available to one business only and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each business may sponsor one banner.
