Hemingway District Block Party Success!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Hemingway District on Saturday, April 11. We’re incredibly grateful for the support—it means a lot, especially as construction continues along the avenue. The work may bring some challenges, but this community continues to show up in a big way.

If you’d like to keep that momentum going, consider becoming a Friend of Hemingway. Donate or volunteer today!

Oak Park Avenue Construction Update

Hemingway District businesses are OPEN during construction. Come visit!

Renew the Avenue is a new construction project in Oak Park that will replace 100-plus year old infrastructure with new, state-of-the-art pipes needed to deliver water to residents and businesses alike. In addition to infrastructure changes, the project will bring new life and energy to the Hemingway District, making Oak Park Avenue a destination for the community and visitors from all over.
