Costumes, treats and plenty of fall fun are coming to the Hemingway District! Bring the whole family to Oak Park Avenue for a festive morning filled with activities for little ones, including a costume parade through Scoville Park, an Early Childhood Resource Fair at the Oak Park Public Library, and complimentary treats and special activities at participating Hemingway District businesses.
Come in costume, bring the kids and make a morning of it in the Hemingway District.
Costume Parade

Put on your favorite costume and join the parade! Kids and caregivers are invited to gather near the entrance of the Main Library before showing off their Halloween looks in a fun-filled parade through Scoville Park, led by Village President Vicki Scaman.
Early Childhood Resource Fair
Oak Park Public Library – Main Library | 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
Head inside the Main Library for the Early Childhood Resource Fair, designed especially for families with children from birth to age five. Meet other local parents and caregivers while connecting with organizations offering early childhood resources, programs and support for Oak Park families.
